Exhibition Catalogue:

Masterpiece Technologies Inc. will host the exhibition featuring the work of Master painter and Dean of the Pratt Institute Frank Lind; Bucks County Impressionist Ben Marcune, and New York art critic/painter, Jeanne Wilkinson. All of the featured works deal with the landscape or seascape as their subject. Stunning seascapes compositions and landscape vistas provide the crux of this exhibition of new work by these three regional masters. This exhibition, Sea & Sky: New Work by Regional Masters will be on display in our New Hope, PA gallery from April 9 through April 30, 2000.

Frank Lind

A major figure in the New York art scene, Frank Lind serves as a model for young artists through his paintings and his position as the Dean of the prestigious Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. A Cumberland, Rhode Island native, Lind is best known for his striking seascapes and intuitive brushwork. His work often conveys gorgeous forms of rocks and waves as well as sea foam with subtle color variations. An accomplished student of the great American seascape painters, Lind credits Winslow Homer, William M. Chase, and J. A. M. Whistler for inspiring him to paint the glorious sea. Lind has shown his work in solo exhibitions at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and Brown University in Providence, RI.  You may view Lind's portfolio here.
