An American Sculptor: Seymour Lipton Authored by Dr. Lori (ISBN: 1-55595-190-2) |
Please join us at the following locations as I lecture on Abstract Expressionism and the post-war sculpture of Seymour Lipton (1903-1986). Lipton's work is defined within the context of post-war America, the growth of the suburbs, and America's fascination with television in the 1950s and 60s. His works are included in major museums such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Yale Art Gallery. After each lecture, I will sign copies of my book, An American Sculptor: Seymour Lipton (ISBN: 1-55595-190-2) which was published by Penn State University and Hudson Hills Press. All events are FREE and open to the public.
