Artwork by Jack Savitsky, in the folk art tradition, has shown sales strength and popularity. 

Jack Savitsky was a coal miner from northeastern Pennsylvania. He had an enviable artistic career, He produced works depicting laborers, farmers, and fellow miners in traditional media. The anthracite region of Pennsylvania and its surroundings provided the subject matter for much of Savitsky's work. In this area of the coal mines, Savitsky's bright colors were a welcome sight. His bright colors and simple compositions resulted in highly desirable pieces collected by many people. Savitsky's compositions show an adept and straightforward approach.

Savitsky's work is included in major collections in the United States and exhibited by the Museum of American Folk Art, the Allentown Art Museum, and other major museums.
