From China Cabinet to Financial and Estate Plans: Finding Wealth in Clients’ Collections

Students will learn how to identify valuable alternative assets, discuss methods to use these assets to enhance the financial and estate plans, and know what to look for to assist clients. Students will learn how to discuss issues surrounding these objects and their liquidation or handing down with family members and heirs.
An overview of the fundamental methods of finding wealth in objects collected by clients including art, antiques, collectibles, memorabilia, sports collectibles, etc. This course will focus on realizing valuable objects, identifying objects, discussing the liquidation process with family members including retirees, heirs, and millennials. Learn how to spot valuables, how to insure, protect and preserve them, liquidate them, and attract heirs including millennials to these assets.
